I was born back in '72 in Norway and live just outside Oslo.
On a daily basis I work as a software advisor for an international software company and have been a passionate photographer for almost 20 years.
My interest for photography really emerged when my firstborn daughter came to this world in 2000. I bought my first digital 6 megapixel pocket camera (Kodak) back in 1999 and soon switched to the Nikon D70 Digital DSLR, simply because of the high quality and advanced functions that was made available at that time.
I really love to travel and for me photography is all about discovering the world and opening my eyes to all the beauty og interesting places out there. Another bonus is that I tend to forget both time and any issues when behind a camera. Another big joy for me is when I can sit in front of the pc with good music on my ear and edit my pictures in Photoshop - sometime for hours.
I prefer to shoot my pictures in natural light - simply because I think the final results are getting better that way! I also like to experiment when it comes to editing-techniques - no matter if it's colors or the more traditional black & white style.
